Job Alert Texts for Technicians
The program
Garage Door Ninja Job Alerts. Garage Door Ninja, operated by American Way Business Consulting, sends job alert texts to technicians who agreed to them for themselves. The texts come from Garage Door Ninja's job alert number, and Garage Door Ninja writes every message; no one else sends or edits them. This program covers technician job alerts only, not messages to consumers.
What you receive
When a new job is booked for you while you are on call, one text with the job type, address and quoted price range. Reply 1 to take the job or 2 to pass. If you don't reply within a few minutes, we call you once about the job. After you reply, a short confirmation follows. Sample:
- “Garage Door Ninja job alert for Demo Garage Doors: Broken spring. At 123 Main St, Santa Rosa. Quoted $99 call + $200 to $450. Reply 1 to take it, 2 to pass. Open: https://garagedoorninja.app/members/jobs/demo Reply STOP to stop.”
How you agree
Your shop sends you a private link to a Garage Door Ninja page. There you confirm or edit your mobile number, read these terms, and tick a box that is unchecked by default:
“I agree to receive job alert texts from Garage Door Ninja for [shop name] at the mobile number above. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.”
Texts start only after you tap Agree. We then send one confirmation: “Garage Door Ninja: You're signed up for job alert texts for [shop name]. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop.” Consent is not a condition of your work: without it, you get the same job alerts by phone call. See the example consent page.

Message frequency varies with your shop's jobs. Msg & data rates may apply.
Stop and help
Reply STOP to any job alert text to stop them; job alerts then come by phone call. Reply START to receive them again. Reply HELP for help: “Garage Door Ninja job alerts: texts about new jobs for your shop. Help: support@garagedoorninja.app. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop.” You can also email support@garagedoorninja.app.
