What we collect
- From shops that join: business name, owner name, email, phone, prices, tech names and mobile numbers, and payment details (handled by Stripe; we never see the full card number).
- From the Join form, before payment: business name, email and mobile phone, kept up to 90 days to follow up on an unfinished signup and deleted anytime on request.
- From callers: phone number, name, address, the job details they give, the call recording and transcript, and their answer to the texting consent question.
- From this website: your language and theme choice, kept in your browser. If you arrive through a partner's link, a cookie keeps the partner's code for 60 days so the partner gets credit if you join.
Why
To answer calls, quote, dispatch jobs, text customers about their job, bill shops, and provide support. We do not sell personal information.
Who helps us
Service providers process data for us under contract: phone and text (Twilio), voice (ElevenLabs), payments (Stripe), email and hosting providers.
Calls and voicemail
Calls to a shop are answered by an AI virtual receptionist, and callers hear that the call is recorded. Recordings and transcripts are kept for 90 days at our voice provider (ElevenLabs); the shop's call log keeps a short summary. The call log and the shop's job records (the caller's name, phone number, address and job details) are kept for 24 months, then deleted.
If the receptionist cannot take a call, a backup line rings the shop's on-call tech or owner, and if nobody answers, the caller can leave a voicemail. The voicemail is recorded by our phone provider (Twilio), and a link to it, which works for 7 days, is emailed to the shop owner and to us. Voicemails are deleted after 90 days.
Texts
Customers and technicians can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties for their marketing. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
Shops can export or delete their data. Callers can ask the shop, or us, to delete their information.
One exception: the record of a caller's answer to the texting consent question (their phone number, the date, and the question as asked) is kept for 5 years as legal proof of consent, even after a deletion request.
